Now Hiring
Strength Coach (Part-Time, approx. 25 hours a week)
Who We Are
Injury Active Clinic isn't your typical gym. Our strength classes aren't just where people train โ they're where people rehab. Osteos, myos and exercise physiologists work in the same building, on the same plan, for the same person, and our coaches are right in the middle of that, not off to the side running a separate programme.
We're after a strength coach who's energetic, genuinely loves fitness, and is interested in getting people out of pain, not just running them through a workout.
The Role
You're in the room from day one, coaching people through their recovery as part of the class itself, not waiting for someone else to clear them first.
You'll work shoulder to shoulder with our osteos, myos and exercise physiologists as one team โ same building, same plan, same person. You scale the movement, they manage the tissue, and together you get to watch someone go from wincing through a warm-up to chasing a PB.
Hours: approximately 25 hours a week from January 2027, across early mornings (from 5:30am), late mornings and evenings (5pm to 8pm), Monday to Friday. Your final roster is set in January around the team's timetable. You'll start in December with Wednesday and Friday evenings and handover shifts while you settle in.
Part of every morning is looking after our members: calling new enquiries, booking people in, and checking in with members so they keep coming back. You'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice people hear first.
What We're After
- โA completed degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or Strength & Conditioning (graduates only)
- โEnergetic, and someone who genuinely loves fitness and coaching
- โReal interest in helping people get out of pain, not just through a workout
- โA team player, we work as one crew alongside our osteos, myos and exercise physiologists, not a coach running a separate programme
- โComfortable coaching people at very different stages, from early rehab to chasing a new PB
- โConfident on the phone and great with people: you'll follow up enquiries and look after our members
- โAvailable for early morning (from 5:30am) and evening (5pm to 8pm) shifts, Monday to Friday
What's In It For You
- โYou coach where rehab and strength are the same programme, not two separate things
- โYou see the whole journey, not just the workout
- โA team that actually backs each other
- โAccess to our rehab gym and integrated model
- โReal professional development, with mentoring from our founder and our accredited exercise physiologist
- โA solid part-time role (approximately 25 hours a week) with room to grow as the gym does
