Expert assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal pain and injuries. Get back to moving, performing, and living without pain.
At Injury Active Clinic, physiotherapy is more than pain management. Our physiotherapists conduct thorough assessments to identify the root cause of your pain — not just the symptoms — and design treatment plans that restore function, build resilience, and prevent recurrence.
Working alongside our myotherapy, osteopathy, and exercise physiology team, our physios can coordinate your care so that every aspect of your recovery is aligned and progressing together.

Sprains, strains, and sudden injuries — assessed and treated quickly to prevent long-term damage and get you back on your feet.
Persistent back, neck, shoulder, or joint pain that hasn't responded to rest or other treatments — we find the cause and fix it.
Structured rehabilitation following joint replacements, ligament repairs, or spinal surgery to restore strength and function.
From weekend warriors to competitive athletes — injury assessment, treatment, and return-to-sport programming.

A physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats musculoskeletal pain and injuries. At IAC Melbourne, our physios use manual therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation programmes to restore movement and reduce pain.
No referral is needed to book a private physiotherapy appointment. If you are using a Medicare Chronic Disease Management plan (CDM/EPC), you will need a GP referral. WorkCover and TAC clients also require a referral from their treating doctor.
This depends on your condition and goals. Acute injuries may resolve in 3–6 sessions, while chronic pain or post-surgical rehabilitation can take longer. Your physiotherapist will give you a clear treatment plan at your first appointment.
We offer physiotherapy at our Ravenhall clinic (38 Panamax Rd) and our Tarneit clinic (412 Derrimut Rd, inside MyClinic Tarneit). Both clinics offer same-day and early morning appointments.
Some techniques such as joint mobilisation or dry needling can cause temporary discomfort, but treatment should never be excessively painful. Your physiotherapist will always explain what they are doing and adjust based on your comfort level.
