Ravenhall · Musculoskeletal Care

Looking for a chiropractor in Ravenhall?

We're not a chiropractic practice, we're an allied health clinic. Our AHPRA-registered osteopath and myotherapists treat many of the same complaints people typically see a chiropractor for: back pain, neck pain, joint stiffness and headaches.

What We Actually Offer

Osteopathy and myotherapy at Ravenhall

If you searched for a chiropractor, it's probably because something hurts and you want someone hands-on to look at it. That's exactly what our osteopath and myotherapists do, assess the cause, treat it manually, and give you a plan to keep it from coming back.

We don't have a chiropractor on staff, so if chiropractic care specifically is what you're after, this isn't that. But most people searching for a chiropractor are looking for someone to sort out back pain, neck pain, stiffness or headaches, and that's squarely what we treat every day at Ravenhall.

Why It Keeps Coming Back

Strength is often the missing piece

Persistent neck and back pain is very often linked to reduced strength and conditioning in the muscles supporting the spine, shoulders and hips. Treatment can settle the symptoms, but if that underlying strength deficit isn't addressed at the same time, the same pain often comes back.

It's why our approach at Ravenhall combines hands-on treatment with structured strength work in the same building. Osteopathy and myotherapy address the pain, and our rehab gym builds the strength and conditioning that helps keep it away, rather than treating the two as separate problems.

This is general information, not personal advice. Your osteopath or myotherapist will confirm what's relevant to your specific presentation at your assessment.

Chiropractor vs Osteopath

What's the difference?

Chiropractors and osteopaths are both AHPRA-regulated allied health professions that use hands-on assessment and treatment for musculoskeletal pain. The main difference is training pathway and registration board, chiropractors register with the Chiropractic Board of Australia, osteopaths with the Osteopathy Board of Australia.

At Ravenhall, treatment with our osteopathy and myotherapy team also connects directly into our on-site rehab gym, so if ongoing strength and conditioning work is part of your recovery, it happens with the same team in the same building rather than a separate referral elsewhere.
