FAQs

Common questions

Where is the Ravenhall myotherapy clinic?: Our Ravenhall myotherapy clinic is at 38 Panamax Rd, with on-site parking and easy access from the Western Freeway. Just 5 minutes from Caroline Springs.
Do I need a referral to see a myotherapist?: No referral is needed. Myotherapy isn't Medicare-rebateable, but most private health extras policies provide a rebate, claimable on the spot with HICAPS.
What's the difference between myotherapy and remedial massage?: Myotherapy is a more clinical discipline, using assessment, trigger point therapy and dry needling to treat the specific cause of muscular pain, not just general relaxation.
How many myotherapy sessions will I need?: Many people feel a difference after one session, but recurring or chronic tension usually responds best to a short course of 3 to 5 sessions alongside home exercise.
